Chairman & CEO
As Chairman and CEO, Sravan Vellanki sets the strategic vision and direction for ACCSCIENT and its portfolio of companies. He also leads the firm’s continued global expansion and investment in high growth technology and services sectors. He brings 25 years of exceptional business and technical management expertise in the areas of business strategy, planning, technology, and team building, in addition to 15 years of Mergers & Acquisition experience to ACCSCIENT.
Having initially founded FutureTech in 1997 as a boutique consulting firm. In 2005 he founded FTH and partnered with professional investors and industry veterans to acquire and operate various companies. His collaboration with Alaris Equity Partners resulted in the creation of ACCSCIENT.
Based in Atlanta, GA, Sravan has a Master’s in Physics from Birla Institute of Technology & Sciences (BITS), Pilani, India and a Master’s in Computer Engineering from Clemson University.

Our CFO, Bharath Vellanki is a highly accomplished senior accounting and financial management executive with three Master’s Degrees and over 28 years of experience in both the Public and Private Sectors.
Over his 15 year tenure with ACCSCIENT, as Executive Vice President and CFO, Mr. Vellanki has overseen countless due diligence efforts and double digit acquisitions around the globe.
His leadership has streamlined the post-acquisition transition and back office integration process for new organizations while eliminating any disruption to business operations.
During his tenure ACCSCIENT has grown its revenues both organically and inorganically from 20+MM to 250+MM.

David Christopher joined ACCSCIENT as Senior Vice President of Corporate Development in 2021. Mr. Christopher has been a Board member for over ten years prior to joining and the private equity fund that he co-founded was an investor in the business from 2010-2017. Mr. Christopher has over 20 years of experience in the private equity industry. Prior to joining ACCSCIENT, Mr. Christopher was a Managing Director of Patriot Capital, a family of private equity funds focused on debt and equity investments into lower middle market companies. Patriot Capital has invested over $1 billion of capital into over 140 companies across five funds. Prior to Patriot Capital, Mr. Christopher was a co-founder and Partner of an Atlanta based private equity fund called Peachtree Equity Partners. Peachtree was founded in 2002 and deployed over $200 million of capital into more than 30 companies across two funds.
Mr. Christopher’s responsibilities at both Patriot Capital and Peachtree Equity Partners included origination, execution and serving on the Board of Directors of portfolio companies. Prior to Peachtree, Mr. Christopher was a Vice President at Wachovia Bank’s Atlanta-based private equity group. Prior to Wachovia, Mr. Christopher was an associate at CIVC Partners in Chicago. Prior to CIVC, he was an investment banking analyst at Kidder, Peabody & Co. and a high yield research analyst at JP Morgan.

Susan McLaughlin is the Managing Partner of Meraki Search Group, a high end, retained executive search firm. She has earned her executive search credentials through engagements on both sides of the equation. She experienced the process from the perspective of one who filled numerous top executive operating positions as Chief Operating Officer of AGL Resources, President of Bellsouth’s Consumer Services business, and in executive positions at Citibank and Eastman Kodak.
Armed with knowledge from her hands-on experiences, transitioning to executive search was a natural career progression. It is her unique understanding of client needs and what motivates prospective senior- level candidates to consider new challenges that gives her an ability to attract the best professional talent for her clients. A keen appreciation of the cultural fit between the client and potential candidate is a crucial factor in finding the right match. Her track record of success is revealed in an extensive list of superior executive placements in the FinTech, financial services, private equity, transaction processing, and telecom/infrastructure industries.
Sue’s prior Board of Directors roles have included Target Corporation, Delphi Automotive, nTelos Wireless, Blue Cross/Blue Shield of Rochester, Federal Reserve Bank of New York, Spelman College, and Mary Baldwin University. She has also served on the Board of Atlanta-based Prime Revenue, where for her role as Lead Director during a capital raise and ownership transition, she earned an Atlanta Business Chronicle/NACD Director of the Year award in 2015.
For many years, Sue has been active in C200 (formerly Committee of 200), a global association of top female executives and entrepreneurs who promote and foster the advancement of women in business leadership. She recently completed her term as the organization’s Chair. She is also a member of the International Women’s Forum, Women Corporate Directors, and the National Association of Corporate Directors. In addition, she is a member of Business Executives for National Security, a nonpartisan group of senior industry leaders who support initiatives to enhance national security.
Sue earned a B.S. in education from the University of Nebraska at Omaha and participated in the University of Michigan’s Global Leadership Program.

Karen Robinson Cope is a visionary and inspirational leader who takes ideas and disparate teams and builds great companies. As evidenced by her successes as a CEO of multiple early stage, fast growth companies, and numerous boards, she can identify a new market opportunity and then develop a clear strategy to quickly become a market leader.
She is a decisive leader who is not afraid to take risks, while appropriately utilizing strategic financing partners and developing sound financial metrics to keep new initiatives on track. She has been recognized numerous times over the last twenty years by multiple organizations for her excellent leadership skills, including Georgia Woman of the Year, Top 20 Women in Wireless, Small Business Person of the Year and many others.
In a variety of industries and companies, Karen has joined an existing leadership team where she has developed a vision, rallied the existing personnel as well as recruited star performers and executed a bold strategy that resulted in market leadership and strong financial performance.
Karen holds a BS in Political Science and Economics from the University of Redlands. She serves on several Boards of Directors where she helps to identify new opportunities, drive innovation and expand businesses globally.

Patrick Kopins joined ACCSCIENT in 2019 and serves as the Chief Operating Officer at BackInTheBlack, OvalEdge and AMOS supporting operations and strategic business initiatives focused on revenue growth, client retention and operational efficiencies.
Patrick has 30 years of executive leadership experience leading technology services and software as a service (SaaS) companies through their growth and digital transformation phases.
Before joining BackInTheBlack 2019, Patrick served as Senior Director and Product Owner of non-performing loans technology at Fannie Mae. Under Patrick’s leadership, Fannie Mae launched the industry’s first loss mitigation servicing platform as a service called Servicing Management Default Underwriter (SMDU) and introduced several new technologies to the mortgage servicing industry to make loan servicing faster, borrower friendly and reduce credit losses for both mortgage servicers and Fannie Mae.
Prior to that, Patrick served as the President of 3 leading system integration companies over a 20 year period focusing on data integration and data center infrastructure.

With over two decades of global HR experience, Sonali Das is a seasoned Human Resources professional specializing in the tech industry. Her journey in HR has been marked by a strong focus on fostering growth and innovation through various talent initiatives.
She holds an MS degree in HR Management and an MBA in HR Development, which have equipped her with the knowledge and skills to navigate the complex landscape of human resources in the tech industry. Her credentials are further bolstered by her PHR and SHRM-CP certifications, testaments to her commitment to staying abreast of the latest trends and best practices in HR. As a way of giving back to the HR profession and developing future HR leaders, she has been visiting faculty teaching HR classes at Georgia State University, DeVry University, Chattahoochee Technical College.
Her expertise lies in understanding the unique challenges and opportunities presented by small to medium growth-stage tech companies. She believes in the potential of each employee, and the power of engaging and empowering employees to rise to their highest potential, which in turn fuels a company’s success. Sonali is a business leader passionate about building and nurturing teams, driving business growth through progressive talent programs.
Based in the United States, she continues to leverage her global extensive experience and qualifications to make a meaningful impact in the tech sector, one organization at a time.
